Asia Cup: What did Virat Kohli tell Shaheen Afridi ahead of Pak vs Ind clash?

DUBAI: Pakistani cricketers met with Indian cricketers just before Thursday’s clash, with pacer Shaheen Afridi catching up with former skipper Virat Kohli.
Pakistan, led by Babar Azam, will face India this Sunday in an international tournament in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Shaheen has been ruled out of the Asian Cup and England’s home series, but he is traveling with a contingent while doctors work with pacemakers on the road to recovery.

As the pacers sat on the floor of the United Arab Emirates, the players from the Indian team also got on the floor and briefly ran into the 21-year-old.
Kohli was also among those who spoke with Shaheen. A former Native American skipper inquired about Pacer’s health and hoped he could recover quickly.
In response, Shaheen said, “Enjoy the Kellane Uplog [you guys are having fun].”
Kori thanked the pacemaker and said, “Thank you. See you soon. Take care and get well soon.”

Shaheen is a vital part of the team and although he has proven that time and time again, the team will miss his services.
In the T20 Worlds match against India in his cup against Pakistan, the skinny Pacer single-handedly swept the entire order of Men in Blue’s top.
