COAS gets UAE’s highest civil award
UAE President Mohammad bin Zayed bestowed his country’s highest civil award, “Order of Zayed,” on COAS Gen Qamar Bajwa
ABU DHABI: United Arab Emirates President Mohammed bin Zayed awarded Pakistan’s chief of staff General Kamal Javed Bajwa with the country’s highest civilian award, the Zayed Medal, during a ceremony in Abu Dhabi.
King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia, President Xi Jinping of China, former US President George Bush, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and other major world and his GCC leaders received the coveted award.
Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman was the last recipient for December 2021.
