Imran approves Punjab cabinet; no PMLQ member included

LAHORE: PTI Chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday approved an 18-member Punjab cabinet that does not include members of the PMLQ.

Cabinet consists only of his PTI MPA, and the party leader also withdrew two of his ministries that were transferred to his PML-Q in Uthman Buzdar’s cabinet, the sources say.

Lahore: PTI Chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday approved his 18-member Punjabi cabinet, which does not include members of the PMLQ.

According to sources, the cabinet consists only of his PTI MPA, and the party leader also withdrew his two ministries assigned to the PMLQ in former Prime Minister Usman Buzdar’s cabinet.

Mian Mehmood-ur-Rashid got the Ministry of Local Government, Yasmin Rashid got the Ministry of Health, Mian Muhammad Aslam Iqbal got the Ministry of Housing and Business and Dr. Murad Raas got the Federal Ministry of Education.

Muhammad Basharat Raja to the Ministry of Parliament, Hashim Jawan Bakht to the Ministry of Finance, Khurram Shahzad Virk to the Ministry of Justice and Justice, Raja Yassir Humayun to the Ministry of Higher Education and Muhammad Hashim Dogar to the Ministry of Home Affairs. Ali Afzal Sahi, Chaudhry Latif Nazar Gujjar, Muhammad Mohsin Khan Leghari and Fayyazul Hassan Chohan may also be assigned to ministries.
