Nine Pak Army troops martyred in AJK accident, The vehicle fell into a Nullah in Shaujabad, Bagh, Azad Jammu and Kashmir

Rawalpindi: Nine soldiers were killed and four wounded when Pakistani military vehicles collided. The vehicle entered Nullah early Sunday morning during routine military service in Shoujabad, Bagh, Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

The wounded soldier was evacuated to his CMH Rawalpindi, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Funeral prayers for all Shuhadas were offered at the Mangla garrison.

Maj. Gen. Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Corps Commander Rawalpindi and other military personnel attended Namaze Janaza. Shuhada’s body is sent home and buried with full military honors.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shebaz Sharif expressed his sadness and grief over the accident. In a statement, he extended his condolences to the families of the nine soldiers. He said the nation bowed to the sons who were martyred while fulfilling their sacred duty to defend their homeland.

He said: I prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the heavenly martyrs high status and the bereaved families patience. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of the wounded soldiers.
