
BRISBANE: India’s legendary cricketer Sunil Gavaskar presented his signed cap to Pakistan’s captain Babar Azam.
Babar alongside his teammates and coaching staff was invited to a private dinner by the former Indian captain. Pakistan team’s head coach Saqlain Mushtaq, batting coach Mohammad Yousaf, and all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz were seen with Gavaskar in a video shared by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
Gavaskar hosted the world’s number three T20I batter and shared his experience with him.
The Pakistan captain received a signed cap from the cricketer-turned-commentators.
It must be noted here that Pakistan team lost to England in their warm-up game by six wickets in T20 World Cup 2022 today. Pakistan will play their first match in the marquee event on October 23 against arch-rivals India.
